Donkey Learns to Cross Water

Here we pony Smidge on her first mountain ride trail where she leaned to cross a small river as well as some smaller creek crossings. The key is patience when working with youngsters. She did not feel safe with the water so we took it slow but kept the pressure on as needed. Watch closely for when there is tension in the lead rope vs when there is slack.
